nature and my response to the questions that those experiences impress upon me. I am interested in the phenomenon that occurs when I bring organic elements into relation to

form, and scale of the work, and how they play and react to light, which is a fundamental part of the pieces. Concepts like scale, surprise, atmosphere, texture, exchange, wabi-sabi, and contemplation are central to my work.
The inspiration behind my work relates to whatever phenomenon speaks to me. I value the
An element of surprise and a deep love and respect for nature and human artifice.
