Colección: Anji Woodley
Anji Woodley is a South African multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, working across mixed media on paper, experimental textile-based sculpture, and large immersive installations.
During Alejandra Topete's residency, she is exploring the manipulation of canvas with clay, blending textile and ceramic elements to form a sculptural, woven wall piece. This work investigates the visual language of brain wavelengths and how they shift across different states of consciousness.
Alongside this sculptural exploration, Anji is developing contemporary figurative works on paper, using pastel, acrylic, ink, and pencil to build layered, intuitive compositions.
