Colección: Alfred Müller
Alfred Müller is a German artist based near Stuttgart. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe under Georg Baselitz and has since developed a distinctive two-layer technique: an expressive, spontaneous underpainting overlaid with thousands of precise brushstrokes. His work is represented in renowned collections, including the ZKM Karlsruhe and the Kienzle Art Foundation.
In recent years, México, especially Yucatán, has profoundly transformed its artistic language. The vibrant colors of nature and the joy of everyday life have liberated his palette, while blacklight effects and spatial depth open new dimensions in his paintings.
During his residency in México City, Müller created three new large-scale works. The architectural clarity and bold colors of nearby Casa Barragán flow directly into this series, merging European roots with Mexican inspiration.
